A Quick Reminder

This March started off with a bang for me. I was just recently promoted at work and to be quite honest, it was validating. Moments like this really solidifies that I am more than capable.

Let me repeat that, I AM MORE THAN CAPABLE!!

There have been many times when I’ve been told by certain people that I was never going to make it in life. I even had an old boss tell me on the day that I was leaving the company that I was never going to make it as a writer. A lie that I even started to believe at one point, but I thank God because if you let him, he’ll take your mess and make something truly beautiful.

And my situation can only be described as that: Truly Beautiful. I’m an accomplished black woman who is flourishing as a writer and more than capable to handle all that comes her way. Especially when God’s on my side.

So reiterating a quote I found this week,

I’m beautiful. I’m worthy. I’m powerful. And I’m on a divine path. Let me start moving accordingly.
